Authority & Execution

How does a recommendation become authorized, executable action?

AI can produce recommendations quickly, but organizations still need to determine who can decide, who has authority to act, and whether the action can actually be carried out.

When is AI providing advice, and when is an explicit decision still required?

Who is authorized to make the decision?

Is the required authority available and usable at the moment the decision needs to be made?

Even if a decision is authorized, is the proposed action permitted under the applicable rules, policies, controls, and constraints?

When should the issue move to a different level of authority?

Can the organization actually carry out the authorized decision in time and as intended?
